Exhibiton – Bristol, UK – Wildlife Photographer Of The Year

We discovered the Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition 100m down the road from the Open Photography 2 exhibition. This exhibition was hosted in the University of Bristol buildings.

Bristol is a renowned location for wildlife photography and film as just up the road from this exhibition in Clifton is the BBC studio where a large number of the BBCs excellent wildlife programmes are made. We had relatively little time for this exhibition, which was a shame as some of the images were stunning and I really felt both the skill and the extreme patience required of wildlife photographers. Some of the images must have taken literally weeks or even months of planning, trekking and then patience to wait for the precise moment to capture the shot.
